Hello,
5th grade is often the final year of officially celebrating Valentine’s Day in school. So with that said, we will hold a small Valentine’s Party on Wednesday 2/14 from 3-3:20pm. 5th graders can make their own Valentine’s Day catchers at home. I will have paper bags available for anyone who forgets. You do not have to participate in Valentine giving, but please know everyone will be coming home with Valentines from those who do participate.
I ask that students make valentines for the number of kids in our class (29) and sign the valentines but do NOT address them to specific people. It takes far too long to track down who is who, but it goes pretty quickly if there is a generic signed Valentine.
Please let me know if you have any questions,
Jenn
