Hi all,
I hope all is well with you. The cruise was not as fun as you would think. Let’s just say putting 37 family members onto a boat for 7 days is not a good idea…
Anyways, I’m sure there will be questions so here’s what is going to happen next Friday. From 1-2 during writing we will share our creative stories from literacy night as a class. (PS. Literacy night is on the 17th) Then from 2-3:15 we will have our holiday party.
Students are allowed to bring in holiday snacks to share if they choose. I’m also open for some good holiday movies if anyone has any appropriate movies in your DVD collections. Last year we watched Elf.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the party.
One last note, please make sure you are helping your child monitor their internet usage. Review internet safety with them including logging in and out of email accounts on public computers appropriately. Also discuss what to do if they come across inappropriate websites or videos as to how you would like them to report those sites to you or another trusted adult. We know there’s a plethora of information at everyone’s finger tips, so let’s be proactive in keeping everyone safe.
Thanks,
Mrs. Archibald
